How we handle your personal data

Global Talent Group LLC — TrustyRecruit is a recruitment agency operating trustyrecruit.com and its client portal. For the data described in this policy, we act as the data controller.

We collect different categories of data depending on whether you are a candidate, a client contact, or a website visitor.

We process personal data to run our recruitment business: matching candidates to roles, managing client engagements, and operating the client portal, or where you've given us consent to do so.

Candidate data is shared with a prospective employer only where you have agreed to be put forward for a specific role. We never sell personal data, and we do not share it with advertisers.

We use a small number of processors — an applicant tracking system, email and calendar providers, and cloud hosting — all of whom are bound by data processing agreements.

Candidate records are held for 24 months from our last meaningful contact with you, after which they are deleted or anonymised. Client engagement records are held for seven years to meet accounting obligations.

We operate across the US, Canada and Europe. Where personal data is transferred internationally, we take reasonable steps to keep it protected in line with this policy, wherever it's processed.

Depending on where you're based, you may have the following rights over your data, which you can exercise free of charge at any time by writing to us.

Access to candidate and client data is restricted to the recruiters working on your search. The client portal uses encrypted connections, role-based access control and audit logging on every record change.
