Remote — United StatesFull-time · Remote (US)$197K – $207K USD base (fixed pay bands, no negotiation)

About the role

Schoolhouse.world is a peer-to-peer learning platform founded by Sal Khan, the creator of Khan Academy, that gives anyone free, high-quality online tutoring and human connection. It has reached more than 200,000 learners in 180+ countries and focuses on durable skills such as communication, empathy, leadership and critical thinking. It runs as an independent nonprofit, funded by donors, grants, foundations and partners such as College Board.

You'll join a five-person engineering team and own full-stack products from ambiguous problem to launch, working in small pods with designers and program leads to define problems, ship experiments and iterate quickly. They want product-minded engineers who wear multiple hats and talk directly to users. The mission-driven culture values sincerity, empathy and human connection.

Remote across the US. Engineers share an on-call rotation of about one week in every six.
