About the role

This seed-stage startup is building the AI platform for commercial real estate and is hiring its first frontend engineer. You'll build the interface every client engagement runs on: AI answers that stream in and link back to their exact source, review queues where people approve AI outputs, document upload and correction flows, knowledge graph exploration and dashboards on model performance.

You'll also create the design system the rest of the team uses to build client-facing apps. The work is data-heavy product UI for technical users, closer to building an analytics tool than a consumer app. Full-stack engineers whose strength is frontend are welcome.

Remote across the US. The company's name is shared with candidates who reach the interview stage.

What you will own

Build the client-facing interface: streaming AI answers with source links, review queues for approving AI outputs, and document upload and correction flows
Build knowledge graph exploration and dashboards on model performance
Create and own the design system the rest of the team builds on
Turn data-heavy workflows into fast, clear product UI for technical users

Requirements

Must haveHas built data-heavy product UI: dashboards, data or graph visualizations, or real-time and streaming data views

Must haveHas built and owned a design system or component library, not only used one

Must haveA portfolio or live examples of shipped UI to share

Must have3+ years of frontend engineering on B2B or data-heavy web apps

Must haveProduction React and TypeScript

Nice to haveEarly frontend hire at a startup, building product UI from scratch

Nice to haveFull-stack experience, comfortable building API endpoints when needed

Nice to haveExperience with Figma MCP or similar AI design-to-code tools
